Project Description

Day-Night Sign: Channel Letters

When the popular Joe Squared restaurant moved one block east on North Ave, Star Neon Signs designed day-night face lit channel letters. The channel letters on each side of the door are black during the day and red at night. The production team fabricated the channel letters using black perforated vinyl for the faces and red LED inside of each channel letter can. As a result, the sign is very visible during the day and absolutely illuminates the corner after sunset.

Day-Night Sign: Logo Sign

About 6 months after we installed the day-night channel letters the client contacted Star Neon Signs and asked us to design a logo sign. For this project, our graphic design department created a face lit and halo lit channel letter cabinet. The cabinet has plotter cut black vinyl on the face. White LED illuminates the face. The back of the cabinet is clear acrylic. A baffle was installed behind the white LED and then red LED was installed for the halo lighting.

The 2 is a day-night face lit channel that was fabricated the same way as the JOE SQUARED channel letters described above.

The combination of both the day/night channel letters and the logo sign is simply stunning at night.
